Alyna Isabelle
Alyna celebrated her 4th birthday on Thursday 23rd of February. It was a great day for her!!! She had lots of friends over to play, no rules for the day, a beautiful "Bratz" cake and a beautiful new dress ... it was great! And seeing her that happy made me feel like I was a kid again too :) It was a "small" celebration this time but next year we will go all out since Emylia will be three and able to better participate as well. Happy Birthday sweetheart!

Romanian Anecdote 
There's a bunch of crows in a forrest - most with baby crows in their nest.
(if you've ever seen a baby crow you know how ugly they are)
One mother crow goes out to gather some food for her babies and on her way out of the forrest she yells out to another crow (who was returning from her food hunt)
"Can you keep an eye on my babies till I get back please?" and the other crow says: "Sure, which ones are yours?" to which the mother crow replies: "Oh you'll know which ones they are when you see them. They're the most beautiful ones in this forrest!" Moral of the story: Every mother thinks her children are the most "beautiful" ones. :) |

Emylia Maya
 On Monday the 1st of May we celebrated Emylias birthday in the new-founded family tradition of going to the Sydney Aquarium! IT WAS EXCELLENT! Everything worked out smoothly all day and we ALL had so much fun. At the aquarium Emylia named all the fish Nemo lol even the sharks. WE spent some time running around Darling Harbour and ended the day by going to the movies with the girls for the first time to watch "Ice Age II - The Meltdown". When we got back to the car around 9pm both girls "crashed"!! A truly memorable day! :)
...and me...
 Well.... what's new with me..... ??? .....Nothing! Approaching the end of my 20's !!! Ohhhh, noooo !!! Feeling really clucky lately... must be the natural instinct for survival of the species because logicaly I do not want and the world does not need another baby. I don't think I could physically, emotionally or mentally handle another baby right now but I do miss being pregnant and giving birth and just having a new baby in my arms .... all sentimental i guess.... anyway, not gonna happen! :) I'm also stressing about going o/s to Romania at the end of the year... Firstly about being able to afford it but also about travelling with my babies and all this terrorist stuff in the world .... eh.... And on top of everything, what if we make it there and the girls don't like it and want to come back home.... I donno.... I guess if its meant to be it'll come easily if not... Yeah. That's about all that's going on in my head right now lol Mariana.

You get points just for visiting certain sites, doing surveys, playing games, reading e-mail and you dont have to make a purchase (although you get a lot more points if you do) and than you can convert the points into dollars that you can spend or receive a cheque in the mail. Quite interesting - worth a look ! :)) 6th September 04 - Definitelly worth doing.
It takes me 2 minutes to log in and get my 5 points a day. Eventually it does add up and if I can get money for nothing I definitelly think its worth it. At least it pays for my internet access. :) And that's just for a passive user like myself - someone that accually gets involved with the program can make some nice cash.
